ABOUT US

When you think of Adena athletics, you think of baseball. Adena has a strong history dating back to 1961. Adena Baseball was split into two teams, Frankfort and Clarksburg. This was also known as the Frankfort Youth League. These two teams participated within the Scioto Valley Youth League dating back to its origination in 1961.

In 1991, a newly formed non-profit was created, now known as the Adena Youth League, Inc. The Adena Youth League was established to provide the youth in Clarksburg and Frankfort Communities an opportunity to participate in Baseball and Softball.

In 2022, the Adena Youth League expanded. We feel that the youth around Frankfort and Clarksburg should all have the same opportunity to participate in their chosen sport. As of now, we offer Baseball, Pee Wee Tackle Football, Cheerleading, Wrestling and Track & Field under the Adena Youth League for grades K-6. We are expecting these offerings to expand in the future.

Our philosopy is to provide the best recreational experience to our youth of any skill level by focusing on these four core elements:

  1. Fun and Enjoyment
  2. Skill Development
  3. Physical, Psychological and Social Development
  4. Concept of Winning
