AYL WRESTLING

Adena Little Warrior Wrestling program participates in the COBYWA League as a part of OH-WAY Wrestling.

PRACTICES
Practice will begin in November and will take place 1-3 days per week. Practice groups are set by experience, size and matched drill partners. This is necessary to maximize sessions safely.

MEETS
Weekly meets are scheduled each SUNDAY in January. Entry fees to these meets are included in league fees. The schedule is pushed out by the league in late December with weekly locations. The season includes 4 to 5 weekly meets and a District Championship. Additional post-season meets and some open tournaments are available for an ADDITIONAL COST. More information will be provided throughout the season.

VOLUNTEERS
We need 5 volunteers to work a mat/table each week. This is super easy and you do not need to know anything about wrestling. We need one volunteer per wrestler at some point in the season. This is necessary for our meets to happen.

UNIFORMS
Wrestling shoes are required by the league for all meets. Street shoes cannot be worn on the mats at meets or practice. T-shirts and shorts or singlets are the appropriate uniform. SINGLETS AND GEAR PACKAGES WILL BE SOLD BY THE TEAM.
